How we verify listings

A conference directory is only useful if its dates are right. Here is exactly where our data comes from and how we keep it current.

97official pages watched
58meetings listed
2,242program sessions
49organizations

Most recent check of an official page: October 17, 2026.

1. Official sources only

Every listing is built from the organizer's own website: the meeting page, registration page and published program. We do not copy other directories or aggregators. Each conference page links the exact page it was verified against and shows the date of that check.

2. Re-checked automatically

We watch 97 official pages and re-fetch them on a schedule, typically daily. When a page changes, the change is extracted with automated tools (including AI language models) and then validated: dates must be real and consistent, and a second, independent check confirms each change against the official page before it is published. Anything that fails these checks is held back.

3. Every change is logged

Each update — a new date, a moved venue, a new session — is recorded with its source and can be reversed. Nothing is overwritten silently.

5. Logos and photos

Organization logos are trademarks of their owners, shown only to identify their meetings; we host our own copy and link its source. Speaker photos come from openly licensed sources, official faculty pages or the speakers themselves, and each is reviewed by a person before it appears. Any organization or speaker can ask us to change or remove theirs.

6. Corrections

Every page has a “Report an error” link. We check each report against the official source and fix confirmed errors. Organizers can use the same form to update their listing.
